The geographical coordinates of Jinzhou Port are 121°04'E longitude and 40°48'N latitude, which is the closest access to the sea from the central and western parts of Northeast China, the eastern part of Inner Mongolia, the northern part of North China, and even Mongolia, Siberia and the Far East of Russia.

 

|Natural conditions

The port is located in a temperate monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 10°C and an average precipitation of 498.7 mm. The sea area of the port area is a half-day tide, the highest tide level is 4.22 meters, the highest tide range is 4.06 meters, the average tide range is 2.05 meters, there is no typhoon disturbance throughout the year, and the winter is frozen but not sealed, and 365 days are effective operating hours.

 

|Port traffic

Highways : 5 expressways (Jinzhou Port - Beijing, Jinzhou Port - Shenyang - Changchun - Harbin, Jinzhou Port - Fuxin - Tongliao, Jinzhou Port - Chaoyang - Chifeng, Jinzhou Port - Panjin - Yingkou - Dalian), 2 national highways (National Highway 102, National Highway 305) pass through Jinzhou Port and extend radially to the vast areas of Northeast China, North China and Inner Mongolia.

Railway : The port railway is connected with the main trunk line of the Beijing-Harbin Railway and 12 trunk railways such as Jincheng, Jinchi, Dazheng, Gouhai, Gaoxin and Weita, as well as the Qin-Shenyang and Shenyang-Dalian high-speed electrified railways. 

Pipelines : 57 pipelines with a total length of about 177 kilometers of crude oil, refined oil, chemicals and other pipelines, undertaking more than 80 kinds of media such as crude oil, gasoline, diesel, aviation kerosene, liquefied gas, propylene, liquid alkali, etc., from the oil and chemical terminal to Jinzhou Petrochemical Company, Jinxi Petrochemical Company, Hangjin Technology Co., Ltd. (formerly Fangda Jinhua Group) and other large petrochemical processing enterprises have their own tank farms and public tank farms in ports. Through pipelines, highways, railways and other collection and distribution ports, it is connected with petrochemical enterprises in the hinterland.

Aviation : Jinzhou Bay Airport has reached the international 4C standard, and has opened a number of routes to major cities in China.
